An owner-operated property services company in Los Angeles. Small on purpose, documented by default.
The idea
Most of what goes wrong with a building isn't really about the building.
The leak got reported. Somebody called a roofer. And then somewhere between that call and the invoice, nobody checked the work, nobody took a photo, and nobody told the owner. Six months later it's an insurance claim and a much bigger number.
That gap is the whole reason RWS exists. We're not trying to be the biggest shop in Los Angeles. We'd rather be the one where every request has a number, a photo, and a date it actually got finished.

Properties
Buildings are physical things. Somebody has to actually look at them, regularly, and write down what they saw. Everything else in this business depends on that one habit.
People
An owner who can't get a straight answer and a resident who's asked three times are the same problem wearing different clothes. Somebody said they'd handle it, and then didn't.
Possibilities
A building that runs without you is an asset. One that needs you every week is a job you accidentally bought. All we really do is move buildings from the second kind to the first.
